Wow, I’m on a roll. I’m actually keeping my blog up to date. There’s a first for everything! Here are the baby shower invitations that my mum and I made for my sister:

I used :

Stamps- Everything Baby, All in the family

Cardstock- So saffron, almost amethyst, whisper white, certainly celery

Inks- Almost amethyst, certainly celery, so saffron, close to cocoa

Accessories- Apricot Appeal Grosgrain ribbon, Scallop punch, Certainly Celery Prints Designer Series Paper, white gel pen, blender pens, corner rounder punch, 1&1/4 circle punch

After stamping the title on the whisper white strip, we rounded the corners with the corner rounder punch, and did the same to the second layer of So Saffron. We added the strip of certainly celery designer series paper to jazz it up a bit.

We then stamped the baby in Close to Cocoa using the “All in the family” set and  coloured her in using the blender pens and inkpads. We then punched her out with the 1&1/4″ circle punch. We punched a piece of certainly celery cardstock with the scallop punch, and added a dot to each scallop using the white gel pen. We used the slot punch to create a hole, and tied a piece of apricot appeal grosgrain ribbon through it. The baby was mounted on top of the scallop using stampin’ dimensionals to pop it up off the page.

Did you notice that I keep referring to the baby as a girl? Ever since Danielle told us that she and Tom were having a baby, I have had a really strong feeling that it’s a girl. I can actually see her in my mind wearing a particular outfit and all (though I can’t find an outfit like it in the shops!). So there you go… I was right about Mason being a boy so I wonder if I’m right this time. I guess we’ll find out in about 6 weeks time. Oooh how exciting!

Thanks for looking!
