Hi there. As usual I’ve been a slack blogger! I’ve seen all of these “blog awards” getting around lately. I think I should get my own special award…. “The Slackest Blogger Award”. Yep, that sounds like me.

Anyway, I have returned to share with you some invitations I made recently for a friend who is turning 30. She is having a masquerade party which should be lots of fun. I went with basic black, lavendar lace, certainly celery and whisper white, to coordinate with her room decorations. You’ll notice the design is similar to the pocket tag invitations that I made for my son’s birthday invitations which I showed you a while back. Fiona liked this design so we decided to use that, and dress it up with the “Priceless” stamp set, brads, DSP, scallop punch and some dazzling diamonds. I also embossed the swirly image. I tried to use the whisper white craft ink, but it just didn’t look as good as the embossing, so 52 invitations later, I can safely say I’m over embossing for the moment! The inside tag had black grosgrain ribbon attached to pull the tag out, and I added the details of the party using the invitation stamp from the “Eat Cake” stamp set. I haven’t taken a photo of the tag, so you will have to be happy with what I’ve got!
Overall I was very happy with these, and Fiona says she is too so that’s the main thing! I hope you like them too.
